The Society announces the passing of member Pearl Geraci of Tampa on March 15 at the age of 93.   One of our earliest members, Pearl was part of the delegation to the wedding of HRH Prince Tomislav and Linda Bonney in England.   She will be sorely misssed.

Prince George and  Miss Fallon Rayman were maarried in Oplanac, Serbia.

The youngest son of our founder, Prince Tomislav and Princess Linda were united under traditional Serbian Orthodox ceremony at the Church of St. George.



2015 Volunteer of the Yer Award

The Society is pleased to announce the annual Volunteer of the Year Award to member Paul Shaskan for his outstanding work with the Hernando County Arts Council and the Spring Hill Art League.   Paul is largely resonsible for the highly successful "Art in the Park' arts and crafts show in Brooksville, Florida.  We also thank his wife, Karen, for allowing him to do so much work for the community

Kayla Haveles Hopper of Palmer Massachusetts is a volunteer at the Palmer Historical and Cultural Center (founded by her father, Robert Sherman Haveles) and the Worcester Woman's History Project.   She is also a member of the American Antiquarian Society

Jan Knowles, member in Brooksville, Florida, has been named a "Great Brooksvillian" by the City Council.  Jan has served more than 20 years as a volunteer at the Musuem, the Preservation Board, Chinsegut Hill historic site and the Arts Council as Executive Director and co-chair of Art in the Park.



Patte Ayala Celebrates Her 92nd Birthday!

On August 5, one  of our original members celebrated her 90th birthday with a week of celebrations including a luncheon in Tampa with members Roger Sherman, Gail Liu and Roger Kenny at Patte's favorite restaurant

Orders and Decorations Collecton to be housed in St. Augustine

The Society's collection of Orders and Decorations, inaugurated at the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Argyll at the Tampa Theatre will soon be part of the permanent collection of the Lightner Museum in St. Augustine, Florida.  The collection of world wide Royal Orders and medals will be supplemented by the personal collection of the Vice Chairman, Roger Sherman.  In all, more than 150 pieces will be in the gift.

The collection includes the Order of the White Eagle donated by our founding Chairman, HRH Prince Tomislav, and a replica of the Order of the Thistle donated by His Grace trhe Duke of Argyll, both founding members.


Vice Chairman Sherman and Director Tom Hughes will be delivering the collection to St. Augustine in the next few months.












Nikolas and Katarina attend funeral of their uncle, King Peter in Serbia

The Royal Family assembed in Serbia to ovserve the burial of the late King Peter II of Jugoslavia.  The King, previously buried in the United States where he died, was returned to the country he ruled so breifly as a young man before going into exile.  Peter was the older brother of Prince Tomislav, co-founder of the Tomanian Society.   Thanks to Rene for alerting us to the photos.
